The La Hiruela village is located in the northwest of the Community of Madrid, 1257 meters high. This unique village, is located at the foot of the top of Bañaderos mountain and is surrounded by the river Jarama and the stream of the strikes. How to get La Hiruela, from Madrid:
Access more used to get the 'Sierra del Rincon' Biosphere Reserve, is implemented using the highway Madrid-Burgos (AI), exit 76: Buitrago-Gandullas
Once pass 'Buitrago of Lozoya' takes a deviation to the right that leads to the Gandullas village, from which continue for the M-137 to meet 'Prádena del Rincon' and 'Montejo de la Sierra'. Crossing the latter town, and continuing the road after the beautiful port of Hiruela, after we found 'La Hiruela' village.
